David Jimenez's architectural practice is built on a foundation that most DC-area architects simply don't have: 15 years of licensed practice in Colombia before setting roots in the United States. That experience — spanning residential, educational, and commercial typologies across two countries — produced a designer equally at home with the discipline of institutional work and the sensitivity required for a custom home.

Since obtaining his architectural licenses in Washington DC and Virginia, David has applied that depth to the Northern Virginia and DC metro market — working with homeowners in Arlington and Alexandria, developers pursuing multifamily projects in Fairfax and McLean, and institutional clients across the region.
As an independent architect since 2006, David operates without the overhead of a large firm. Every project receives direct principal attention — from initial programming through permit submission and construction administration.
